The Ozark Fall Farmfest began in 1980 when Farm Talk Newspaper, a regional weekly agricultural publication, and the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds joined together to host a show featuring the latest in agricultural products and services in the Ozarks.
In over four decades following, the Ozark Fall Farmfest has attracted hundreds of thousands of farmers and ranchers annually on the first weekend in October at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds in Springfield, Missouri.
In August of 2020 the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds became the sole promoter of the Ozark Fall Farmfest.
Today, the Ozark Fall Farmfest offers over 1,200 agricultural and rural living exhibits and features more than 600 head of registered livestock.
