The 2025 American Shorthorn Association annual meeting was held in conjunction with the American Royal Shorthorn Junior and Open Show, October 23-25, 2025. Missouri Shorthorn Association board members attending the ASA meeting were Jose Cruz, John Hendrickson, and Beverly Henke.  The following is a list of awards received by Missouri members at the awards luncheon:

It was also announced at the ASA meeting that Missouri will be moving into the southeast region and the Missouri State Fair Shorthorn Open Show will be a regional points show in 2026!

 

Missouri juniors were well represented at the American Royal Shorthorn Junior and Open show. Those showing were Bridgette Cover, Mealiea Cover, Callie Henke, Addison Ward, Connelly Ward, Brooklyn Wilson and Bobby Wilson. Callie Henke brought home a banner for Reserve Junior Bull Calf in the Shorthorn Open Show with her purebred Shorthorn bull.
